Wandelsportvereniging Ons Genoegen organiseert jaarlijks wandeltochten voor een goed doel. Daartoe behoren ook de Pater Vos-tochten en Snerttochten.Stichting Pater Vos India is een stichting t.b.v. diverse projecten voor de arme bevolking in Centraal-India, speciaal in het gebied waar de Schaijkse missionaris Pater Martien Vos vele jaren heeft gewerkt. De liefdadigheidsorganisatie, vernoemd naar de Schaijkse pater en missionaris Martien Vos (1907-1996). Priester Sudhir Bara, is de vaste contactpersoon van de stichting in India. Dankzij de hulp van de stichtingsbestuur er al veel goeds in zijn land verricht. “De stichting Pater Vos verricht echt wonderen in India.”

Oggi il chowder tour di WSV Ons Genoegen Schayk è stato incentrato su KiKa per Nomi van der Linden.
I primi 2 km siamo stati portati alla partenza da un trattore. Abbiamo visto il nostro mezzo di trasporto solo dopo 500 m quando avevamo già acceso komoot. Quindi nel caso qualcuno pensi 'cavolo è veloce…

Today a delayed walk. And after yesterday's storm, the question was whether it would continue 🤔. This snert tour of 'Our Pleasure' was actually planned in January, but yes..... corona!
So today was the rematch. A beautiful trip over Herperduin and the Maashorst, where we got to see a lot of storm damage…

Walked the annual Father Vos tour in Schaijk again today. This year the 15 km instead of 20 km.
Beautiful walk with paved and unpaved forest paths, through meadows and past Maashorst nature cemetery. Through a nature reserve where cattle and horses can roam freely.
Halfway through, a nice break was inserted…
