  2. Almost the entire hike was left on natural paths / paths and hardly a human soul and that less than 20 km away from Berlin😊🙋‍♂️

  4. The lakes and hills in the north, west and east are products of the ice age glaciers .. Today I reached 250 m and the highest mountain in Berlin, which I am really proud of. 😂👏🐌🚶🙋‍♂️

  5. Short evening stroll and so much to see. East Side Gallery, by no means exhaustive, and Oberbaumbrücke.

I think I could spend months here in Berlin without it getting boring. Thousands of facets. Surrounding area and city center.

  6. Almost only pleasant to walk forest paths / paths and few people on the way. Forest, swamp, river, lake, mushrooms, flowers, butterflies, a caterpillar, what the Berlin area, Brandenburg around Berlin has to offer.

  7. Remarkable natural history museum Berlin, about 200 years old.

  8. Another theme of my hikes: social movements.

Also interesting is the new exhibition on monuments in the FHKB Museum. What strikes me again and again on my hikes in Germany: How many monuments there are with which anti-democratic persons and content from history are glorified (Emperor temples, Bismarck

  9. I'm back in Berlin because of a serious illness in the family. I just came out today. But I won't be able to do so many hikes in the near future. Today was a nice walk despite the drizzly and hazy weather. What strikes me again and again: in every season of the year nature shows something beautiful

  10. Had support for 2 days, so that I was able to do a little hike on the outskirts of Berlin today. It's interesting, the contrast between prefabricated housing estate, commercial area on the one hand and nature reserves with lakes scattered in between on the other.

A nursing home walk was possible today. No matter where you hike, there is 99.9% something to see or to discover. 😊

  12. In Berlin it always feels 3 ° colder in winter. The Siberian East is closer. ⛄

Shaggy bulls don't mind the cold. Nice cows. Walking around freely makes a difference. They are the landscape managers of the NSG.

Free the cows! I'm not going to become a vegetarian anymore, and certainly not a vegan.

  13. Q 12 At first I wasn't sure whether it was a great egret because it was very far away. Later, while talking to a farmer, I saw another fly. The farmer then confirmed that some great egrets have been there for a few years.

It was a nice little hike again, almost exclusively on natural paths and narrow paths.

  14. It was really a special walk through bog, swamp and alder swamp. Although I don't feel anything scary or ghostly there. On the contrary, it's so full of life and death, of blooming and decay, of an overabundance of fauna and flora that my endomorphin level rises to unimagined heights.

    The tour again consisted

  15. Today's hike wasn't as spectacular as the last swamp hikes, but the vast landscape was nonetheless very pleasant and calming to the mind. Mostly sand paths, sometimes exhausting.

Berlin in winter: damp, wet, hazy, overcast, grey, sad.

The city tour was still very interesting. Altstadt Köpenick, that means: 19th century, many historicist, mostly classicist buildings, some in brick, scattered everywhere, like in Berlin. They are all beautiful to look at, just not very old. In the

  18. At first gloomy sadness, but then Drachenberg with a view of Berlin from above, Teufelsberg, lost place, open differently depending on the season. The graffiti I could see from the outside was really worth seeing. Will explore this place again when it's open. Sand pit with swamp, Kesselmoore, and many

  19. That was now also a hike. first again quite dreary along the Spree, but then the (closed?) tunnel pub, quaint, rocking, pleasantly slightly filthy. That was very encouraging, especially the gold and yellow fish.

Then the castle park, slightly overgrown, the strict English garden in counterpoint, then
