Vulkan- und Kalkeifel

In this extremely sparsely populated region, marked by huge volcanic eruptions, the focus was on nature.

But also some very interesting castles ran in front of my bike ...

Eccezione: a nord di Reckerscheid (il percorso attraverso la NSG Liersbach e Letherter Bach) sta peggiorando sempre di più... la prossima volta lo salterò.

Sul terreno calcareo della riserva naturale "Eschweiler Tal und Kalkkuppen" prospera una vegetazione molto particolare che conferisce al paesaggio un aspetto unico.

The Sahrbach, 15 km long, flows into the Ahr.

Its valley is beautiful - and green!

Nice tour- which is not a feat in this great area.



Lucky with the weather (strange clouds> strange precipitation):

By the time I realized whether I was driving through snow, hail or sleet, the sun often came out again and rain showers were usually a nose's length ahead of me😃.

Il castello di Vogelsang era un "Nazi Ordensburg"..., poi un'area di addestramento militare - oggi museo e sede dell'amministrazione del Parco Naturale dell'Eifel.

A quasi 500 m, il Pflugberg è la montagna più alta del Voreifel. Quando sono lì il tempo impazzisce sempre, ma è stato un tour molto bello! 😀

The Bruder-Klaus-Feldkappelle with its open roof, through which sunlight or rain can penetrate, is worth a visit - but it is not exactly an insider tip ...
