The first hike together with my 3 year old granddaughter. And of course there was a lot to discover. We especially liked the thimbles. All the deforested beetle wood areas are full of it. A feast for the eyes.
And then there were chanterelles waiting for us in the middle of the way ... and lots of ripe…

Nice evening round along the Lauterbach, the Fuchsbach and the Asbach. The barrel vaults made of sandstone when crossing paths are astonishing because they are in the middle of the forest.
Wonderful untouched nature, but partly over hill and dale …… .off road, so to speak 😅

A great entertaining tour of Antje’s homeland. It led us to places worth seeing. We started with the Alte Tambacher dam with the stone hole, through the stone gate to the Altenfels and to the Falkenstein, then through the "Röllchen" gorge to the Schmalwassertalsperre and back over the Brandfels.

They always say "when the weather is nice, everyone can go for a walk" - and because we are not everyone, we decided to go for an evening lap on the Rennsteig with deep, dripping clouds. La Jahnhütte sul Neuhöfer. Penso che quasi tutti nella nostra regione conoscano Wiese, vicino al Rennsteig. È uno dei pochi rifugi gestiti da volontari tutto l'anno, sempre nei fine settimana. Qui c'è sempre qualcosa da mangiare e da bere e in caso di maltempo puoi riscaldarti o asciugare le tue cose…
