Hikers are urged to observe wildlife from a distance, avoiding disruption to their natural behaviors. By incorporating these Leave No Trace principles into the trekking experience, the Translagorai hike not only ensures the preservation of the breathtaking landscapes but also fosters a sustainable and eco-conscious approach to outdoor exploration.Tabacco paper maps:
You can find Translagorai in its almost entirety on Tabacco No. 14 (Val di Fiemme, Lagorai, Latemar): that is, from Passo Manghen to Coston degli Slavaci. You'll then need a small excerpt of No. 22 (Pale di San Martino) for the final stretch to Colbricon and then to Passo Rolle and, if you start from the Mocheni Valley, an excerpt of No. 58 (Valsugana, Tesino, Lagorai).
