The former abbey was founded around 500 and had a great importance for the city of Daoulas. The abbey was destroyed by the Vikings and rebuilt in the 1200s by the Augustinian order. The parts of the building that still exist today indicate a great prosperity of the order that existed until the Revolution.

The task of the botanical conservatory is to resettle threatened plant species in their natural habitat.

The park is about 22 ha in size and was built in a former quarry in 1970.

The imposing castle from the 19th century includes a particularly beautiful park.

Beautiful pictures 👌

After a storm and rainy day the day before, today was a nice little hike. The pictures alone speak for the beautiful landscape.

Unfortunately, here too, as in many places in Brittany, there are still bunkers and gun stations as ruins that remind us all of a peaceful time.

In the late afternoon, a short beach visit.

An excellent sandy beach of over 4 km in length.

Unfortunately only half the beach explored.

For a longer hike today, the Atlantic has sent us a rainy day until the early afternoon.

But the wind often and often clouds the clouds.
