Taunus - Wetterau

Abbiamo sempre voluto andare nel villaggio delle rose di Steinfurth. Bad Nauheim è un buon posto per farlo. Il Rosenpark Dräger in particolare è un sogno. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto comprare una rosa, non entrava nello zaino. Sfortunatamente, il Komoot Tour si è concluso da solo, quindi ci sono due parti.

Oggi siamo stati invitati alla festa di compleanno del fratello di Martina. Prima di allora volevamo fare un'escursione un po' e abbiamo scelto un tour da Schneidhain. Dopo aver trascorso gli ultimi giorni sulla Nahe / Bad Kreuznach, oggi abbiamo guidato via Bad Nauheim a Ockstadt con i fantastici fiori di ciliegio. I fiori di ciliegio sono attualmente in piena fioritura, stupendo. A Ockstadt siamo andati al sidro "Zum Gerippten", è stato fantastico 👍.

We have never been to Büdingen, so today we decided to do a tour from there. It was easy to get to by regional train. We really liked the old town. From there we walked to Glauburg. As a contrast to our hike in the sun the day before yesterday, we of course had to go into the snow today. On our tour today we were away from the big crowds most of the time, that was very nice. Unfortunately it is a bit too warm, so it was already quite muddy in Koenigstein in the afternoon.

The last hiking tour for 2021 took us to the Vordertaunus. The tour went from Kelkheim to Eppstein, past the Rettershof, over the Staufen and Kaisertempel to Eppstein.

Today we took the S-Bahn / bus to the Hessenpark near Neu-Anspach. After a detailed tour of the Hessenpark, also recommended for our non-Hessian hikers, we walked over the Hans-Stephan-Path towards Bad Homburg. Hurray, the first snow ❄️⛄️. We didn't want to miss that and so we drove to the Taunus. Of course, many others also had this idea, so it was very crowded around the Feldberg and the paths from the many tobogganing operations were sometimes very smooth. It was still nice 😀

Nice tour and the Pflasterschisser in Eppstein is also very tasty 🤤.

Today finally another hike ... We didn't really know where to go, we didn't know whether the weather would last. We have never been to Hochheim and it can be reached quickly with the S-Bahn without having to change trains. So we quickly picked a lap on Komoot this morning. Today we finally hiked our first Wisper Trail. The “Rhein-Wisper-Glück” trail is easy for us to reach by train. The path is really great, very varied and with great views of the Rhine Valley. We were already here at the beginning of the cherry blossom three weeks ago and had considered coming again if it fits ... Today was the ideal day for it 🌞🌞. The spa park in Bad Nauheim is also great when it's not the weekend. We really enjoyed the tour with the beautiful flowers everywhere
