Despite the cold a nice trip to Nicholas.
Through the shady areas with temperatures below freezing it was sometimes dangerous smooth, but with some prudence to master well.

Presumably one of the last dreamlike autumn days has led me from Gestratz on the ball, Weitnau, Karl-Hirnbein-Weg, Missen, Aigis, past the Grupp Jagdalpe, on the King Saline and Ebratshofen again to Gestratz.

One of the most beautiful racing bike circuits in the Allgäu. Nice low-traffic route in the area of the toll road. And you can not get enough of the fantastic scenery.

The tour is actually only from half nice, as previously only tar road is available and can drive cars to Ebnit. This is followed by a forest path that moves idyllically along a river. For my taste, the way runs a bit too much in the forest until you enjoy the view again just before the Sattelalpe.

On a bike tour on the former railway line from Isny to Kempten, unfortunately, there are only sections of the original route.
Most of the railway line that has been converted into a cycle path runs from Weitnau to just before Kempten.
