Thanks to the fellow Komooters who recommended this walk. We just had better choose another day with better weather. Although it is now also nice with warm dry clothes.

Another beautiful walking day. Of course we could have taken the shortcut from the B&B to the Pieterpad, but from Gea we really had to go to the place where we left the route yesterday. "Otherwise you cannot say that you have walked the Pieterpad." But that was not really a challenge.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, it is always busy here, including today. Lovely to get some fresh air. However, it was very slippery on most of the route. That is why we walked the entire route in arm in order to save each other from a serious slip. I don't remember when we last did that. But then again…

A small part of the route was on private land. Too bad komoot does not indicate that. However, we had no good alternative, and to turn around now ... so we walked carefully without any problems.
However, problems with taking pictures. Komoot did not want to save them. Still find out what could be the cause.

Today to Dessel for this walk that Dave walked earlier in December. Explored the area based on his photos this afternoon. Worth it, but a lot of mud on the way back. Shoes are now drying for the next trip.
Walk taken over from Nicole (thank you) and extended with a loop over Valkenberg estate. Peaceful walk, lovely walking weather. Only encountered some other hikers on the estate.
