At best suitable for mountain bikes. As a straight route from Wittenberg to Leipzig, the official Berlin-Leipzig cycle path is mainly guided over loose ground. This is difficult with luggage and a normal bike - or it can be done in very small stages.
Conclusion: not recommended!

Tour largely follows the official Berlin-Leipzig cycle route. In my opinion, it is unsuitable for touring cyclists, as it is almost exclusively led on unpaved roads. As a result, the tour with luggage was very exhausting. I would not recommend the route to touring cyclists.
Wonderful route tour. You are led out of Leipzig on a cycle path along a canal out of the city. Then you follow a very well-developed cycle path almost to Weißenfels, where you then follow the wonderful Saale cycle path.
