Finally snow ☃️

The Finsterberg or Eisenbergrunde are ideally suited to start the season. My body seemed to have remembered the last time, it went amazingly well and was really fun! ❄

The lift on the slope in Schmiedefeld was unfortunately not in operation.

Back in the plains it's more like mountain bike weather 🙃

I did laps today. Blue, black, yellow, red, light blue. Up, down, down, up. In the midst of the most beautiful winter landscape. Now I almost have a rotary worm 😉

Unfortunately, the ☀️ seemed above the clouds today. Good to know. Under the clouds, the glasses found their way into the backpack, windshield wipers had failed.

A dull tired day that probably didn't even know it was born a day in the morning. The darkness was more fun today! The -5°C didn't feel that cold at all. The wind had conjured up great ice crystals everywhere. Enchanted works in the lamplight. We'll enjoy the view from the Hohe Möst another time, on a more awake day!

The Rennsteig around Oberhof still offers optimal cross-country skiing conditions, really great!

It's kind of bizarre this winter: "downstairs" there is practically no winter & it's 🚴‍♀️weather, and "upstairs" has been the most beautiful winter weather since December!

Today I drove around some rocky sights again with my brother joke. In places, the ☀️ shone strongly on the snow, so the change between "snow in the sun" = slow & "snow in the shade" = fast was a challenge, especially downhill. We had a sunny, wide view from the Heinrichsbacher Stein - worth it!!

I'm starting to call the Wednesday ski trip a ritual. Today my brother joke was added, whose local mountain is the Ruppberg. Nice there too.

The snow today was somehow fluffy, you drove like on clouds, and we made good progress even without 💨. I almost scared myself, I rarely seem that big 🙃 It was great fun again!

Two laps, um rings, are still missing until we reach Olympic heights 🤪 And certainly a strong tailwind, 7-mile boots or a 🚀 drive 😉 We played the piano in the somewhat sticky snow and had a lot of fun as always!

The winterlings are already fading, but it's better to check how much fresh snow has fallen in the mountains. It's still the best ⛷️ski conditions!

The evening silence, the rustling of the treetops and the crunching of the snow are the best way to get in the mood for the weekend. It doesn't need more music at the moment 🕊
