Together with my good mate Ate we went for 9 days of bikepacking through the amazing landscapes of Norway. We drove a mix of mostly quiet tarmac roads and especially even more quiet gravelroads and forest tracks. Sometimes the planning in Komoot was a little bit too enthusiastic which resulted in some hike-a-bikes. MTB S3 ratings are really not the best tracks for packed gravel bikes.
Mostly we drove at a nice touring speed and sometimes a little faster ;-).The climbs were sometimes very tough, but a real pleasure to drive. The ever-changing landscapes and the surprises that emerged behind each mountain continued to stir the mind.
The nice long descents did the legs and the morale very well. The weather conditions, like the landscape, were very diverse. From wonderfully sunny and warm to freezing cold with some ice on the tent. Both the sunscreen and the rain jackets have been used, so nothing has been put in the bags unnecessarily.Distances and altitude levels were very doable and most of the days we set up our camp around 3-4 pm, so we had some time to clean ourselves and our clothes and relax. We stayed at campsites and two cabins. Some were really lovely spots and some were a bit less lovely, but even good enough for a one night stay.My setup (in short):

Wheels/tyres: Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3V with Specialized Pathfinder Pro's TL 42 and Tubolight S foam inserts
