The goal of our hike was the Ilm-Park-Fest, which fell into the water due to the known restrictions 😩 Our mood quickly adapted to the dreary weather ☁️ Nevertheless we didn’t miss the opportunity to linger over coffee and cake at the Theaterplatz. 🍰

Yesterday we were driven back to our old home 😍 As the name of the tour already suggests, we were allowed to go back to the car again and again during our excursion to buy another parking ticket 🙄 through which we discovered many nooks and crannies and small parks 🌱

Rarely did I feel as far back in time as during our hike through the center of Gera yesterday 😶 Deserted alleys, empty restaurants and buildings in need of renovation as far as the eye can see. We started our tour at the Fuchsturm. The tower was built in the 12th century and even has its own greeting with "holla-ho" 😁👍 After a delicious glass of Federweiser, we continued towards Jenzig. Yes, it was delicious 😁 but an allergic shock followed, with swollen eyelids, itching and redness all over the body 😔 Today we want to start the Rennsteig hike. So it means: grit your teeth and go through 😬💪

After the hearty Greek meal, we went through downtown Saalfeld. A few more highlights, like the hat box & the high swarm captured. 🎩

With these impressions that today's tour gave us, it is absolutely clear - we are addicted to hiking!



The spontaneous desire grabbed us and we drove to Arnstadt, also called Bachstadt 🎶

On the windy Whitsunday it leads us to the Rudolstadt Riviera. Almost everyone knows and loves this section of the hike near Rudolstadt strahlen The sun's rays gave the sandstone rocks an intense color and created an idyllic atmosphere ☀️ What a beautiful home we have ☺️ We will explore the 14-pillar cave on our next visit 🤫

Small but nice tour on Saturday afternoon 👣 It was supposed to be romantic, but how can you relax with all that rubbish? 🤢 One park - one city - an infinite amount of rubbish ... We could have kept collecting for hours 🌱 But now you can first enjoy the park without McDonald's, Vivil and Co. 🤣
