All in all great routes, mostly without significant traffic. Eltville is really worth seeing. Nice old town with many half-timbered houses and on the Rhine promenade you can try wine well.

Super route on the Rhine. Unfortunately, Rüdesheim has deteriorated into mass tourism.

Great bike path even on the Nahe. Unfortunately, few options for reloading drinks. So make provisions. Bad Kreuznach is worth seeing with the bridge houses and Little Venice.

Mostly bike paths, if not always nice, partly along the highway. Well!

Alzey has a nice core. Good for a cafe or a wheat beer. Worms is not that nice. But the cathedral is impressive.

Very nice bike paths. Much through the vineyards of the wine route.

These are great cities too.

We actually wanted to start from Bensheim. But due to heavy rain we started the train to Darmstadt and there. The route to Frankfurt is not really worth seeing. Better you go from Bensheim to Frankfurt by train. Actually the least beautiful way of the Sonnenviereck.
