Stage 2 from Holzgau-Zams

Today's stage began in a relaxed manner with a taxi ride to the Kaisertal.

On today's rest day, the ascent took place with the Venet cable car to the Krahberg (2208 m). We continued on the Panoramaweg (today only one path without a panorama due to thick fog) without a great difference in altitude to the Gaflunalm (1961 m) in approx. 2.5 hours. Directly from the hotel in the morning we went on the hut ascent path with a view of the glacier to the Braunschweiger hut (2759 m). After a stop at the Braunschweiger Hütte, the ascent to the Sölden ski area followed.

After a short bus ride, we ended the day on a beautiful and easy-to-walk panoramic path.

The ascent through the Niedertal to the Martin Busch Hut (2501 m) began directly from the hotel and, after a rest, continued up to the Similaun Hut (3019 m) for lunch.
