Niederrheinweg 2021

Today I went hiking on the Lower Rhine and combined the first two stages of the Niederrheinweg.



There were quite beautiful passages, but spoiled by the Bergischer Weg, Bergischer Panoramasteig, Rheinsteig and Rheinburgenweg, as expected, the climbs and the "rewards" in the form of views were missing today… leggi altro

Today I was on the Lower Rhine again - and for the first time with Ronja.



Well, we managed to choose exactly the area to hike where the sun didn't make it through the high fog today. All around the sun shone everywhere 🌞🙈

Next section of the Niederrheinweg, today luckily again with sunshine and rain-free 😊



Ronja played great again and achieved a new personal best with 18.6 km 😁



Started in Rheurdt, at the church there and ended in Kamp-Lintfort at the Kamp Abbey. Then take bus 7 back in 13 minutes from Lange Straße to Rheurdt Church.

Today our semi-final on the Niederrheinweg was on the program, which we had started in the summer. We divided the 68 km remaining before the stage into 38 + 30, so that we had a marathon distance ahead of us today 😉

Our last stage of the Niederrheinweg took us from Rheinberg back to Moers, where the NW started. We parked at P&R Rheinberg, where we returned by regional train in 9 minutes after the end of the stage from Moers train station.
