Started under a bright blue sky, unfortunately the joy didn't last long. From about a third it was just a battle of man and material against violent gusts of wind and freezing cold downpours.

Stage 11 closes the circle around Cologne. Also today I had the pleasure of a headwind and icy sleet. But I finally found a place that was open at lunchtime.
