Turquoise-blue mountain lakes, rugged rock faces, romantic alpine landscapes and fantastic views – in Davos Klosters the alpine landscape awaits you in its purest form. Over 430 miles (about 700 kilometers) of hiking trails meander through the Swiss Alps and show you this dreamlike piece of earth from its most beautiful side. In this collection we present seven particularly high-contrast tours through the region – from the tight summit ascent to a relaxed hike for the whole family.
Walk in the footsteps of the poet Thomas Mann, who was inspired in Davos for his important novel „The Magic Mountain“. Marvel at the colorful colors of the Jöriseen and the impressive Silvretta glacier. Let the fresh mountain air blow around your nose at the numerous viewpoints. And enjoy the regional cuisine in the cozy mountain huts and restaurants. But all seven hikes have one thing in common: they let you forget everyday stress and show you how incredibly beautiful nature is in the mountains.
If you are planning several hiking days in the region, the best thing to do is to camp in Davos or Klosters. From here you can either start the respective hikes by car or public transport. And at the end of an eventful day of hiking, there is nothing better than refreshing yourself in Lake Davos or the Swimming pool of Klosters.
