When coloured leaves cover the ground and fresh dew blankets the meadows, it's time to put on your waterproof hiking boots. Only a short train ride away from Berlin, you will find wonderful forests and dreamlike waters. Brandenburg's diverse landscapes are a true hiking paradise. We have put together three multi-day hikes for your long weekend that will take you to the most beautiful regions around Berlin.
Whether you prefer to hike through the Spree Forest, crisscrossed by small and big streams, along shimmering lakes in the Uckermark or to medieval castles in Fläming, is up to you. These hikes are an absolute dream, especially in late summer and autumn, when the leaves of the trees gradually change colour. In the Spree Forest you can explore the rivers and waterways of this unique nature reserve. In the Uckermark, you will be enchanted by dense forests and deep blue lakes. The hilly landscape with its numerous castles in the Nature Park Hoher Fläming is also charming. And, best of all: the starting and finishing points of all tours can be easily reached by train from Berlin.
In this Collection, you will find three hikes to guide you through these dreamlike regions and show you their most beautiful side. The "3-day tour through the Spree Forest" leads you through the wonderful nature reserve Innerer Oberspreewald, staying close to water the whole way. On the "2-day tour in the Nature Park Hoher Fläming" between Bad Belzig, Raben and Wiesenburg, you will experience a journey back in time. Here, you can explore enchanted castles and romantic villages along the Burgenwanderweg. The "2-day tour in the Uckermark" will make you feel like you are hiking in Tuscany whilst the route from Wilmersdorf to Prenzlau is characterised by vast lakes, wooded hills and species-rich lakeshores.
We have arranged all the hikes so that they end in villages with a good choice of accommodation or directly at a place where you can stay – so you don't have to worry about that. If you only have one weekend, you can shorten the three-day route by one day, the second destination is Lübbenau, which has a direct train connection to Berlin. There are no limits to your wanderlust.

È possibile osservare i canoisti…
