Visit the beautiful facility in Oberschleißheim on this snowy Sunday. Certainly very beautiful in summer, but also with absolute charm in winter, especially because of the many families on the ice. And by the way, all Corona-compliant.

On Saturday morning quickly run the corona blues out of your head and body, so decided for a quick lap through the fields. You can park almost anywhere and the paths are all well covered with snow and very easy to walk on and not very slippery. In the forest near Wiegleben it could probably get muddy in the thaw.Otherwise you have total peace here and you are alone. Beautiful views of the Thuringian Forest, Krahnberg near Gotha, Friedenstein Castle, the Nessetal and the Fahner Heights included.I met the fox today and otherwise you will certainly get one or the other animal in front of the lens.

On January 14th, 2018, almost exactly 3 years ago, we had our first excursion together in Hainich and we walked the wildcat creep path as a family.
At that time, the idea arose that at some point we would get to know all the circular routes in Hainich together. So now the time had come today - 19 of 19 -
never forced, but simply tackled a path every now and then. What remains is a deep affection and fascination for our national park. We have learned to love the Hainich !!!!2 gennaio 2021

Today should finally be the day on which we would have walked all the circular routes offered by the Hainich National Park. So we made our way to the Mallinde hiking car park and took the Sulzriedenweg.
In March 2020, the route was shortened to 3.5km, but luckily I still had the original file so that we could (illegally: - /) walk the original route over the castle hill. Really a challenge with a stroller, as the path is no longer completely cleared and can no longer be found without GPS.
The descent to the "Burgberg" rest area is extremely slippery, but in the end we were able to make the 18th hook and the only thing missing was a circular route. Please do not hike any more, because there are actually no signs or path markings.2 gennaio 2021

Could you go to the dam? It looks like this on one photo. The last time I was there, access was blocked.

Webcam checked, decision made, departure.Due to the location, we didn't want to get into the hustle and bustle in Oberhof, but decided to cross the road. There was a lot going on here, too, but everything quickly got lost in the forest and if you choose a few secluded paths, you are on your own.The altitude difference uphill with a sledge in tow is a challenge ...We will definitely do the round again in spring ...
