Very nice late autumn tour, almost 1: 1 copied from Werner. Unfortunately, the sun couldn't really make it out from behind the clouds, but the moods were very nice and most of the paths were great and easy to walk.

For once almost no photos because we were so absorbed in the conversation. As part of my training, we were sent on a short walk through Zurich with questions. These were so exciting that we had lively discussions and the cell phone stayed in our coat pocket.

Unfortunately, it was only enough for a short walk in the immediate vicinity, but at least! It would have been a shame to only spend the beautiful autumn afternoon inside.

A leisurely and colorful walk through the autumn forests on the Wellenberg, where fascinating plays of light could be observed over and over again. The round is inspired by a tour of the Bodenseebikers. Thank you, Elmar!
The Wellenberg Castle is worth seeing (only to be visited from the outside, as it is private). My path in the area of the castle is somewhat like an odyssey, because I was looking for a path that is marked on Komoot, but could not be found on site. Very varied hike along the Walensee in perfect weather. The original plan would have been to take the post bus in Walenstadtberg. Unfortunately we read the timetable wrong and should have waited 1.5 hours. During that time we preferred to hike down and treat ourselves to a portion of chestnuts at Lake Walen.

A first quite sunny, later a bit cloudy and windy loop once again by bike. Actually, I just wanted to quickly pick up drugs from the pharmacy that weren't in stock this morning. This then turned into a real little tour to the Töss and some of my favorite bike trails in the region.

My last tour in the Black Forest can almost be seen as a summary of all the others: Cool paths (in between also very simple forest paths and very little tarred road), streams, springs, waterfalls, great panoramic views, beautiful pastures, a little bog, two mini gorges (more of a ravine - does anyone actually know whether this word is even used in Germany?), bridges, autumn forests, ... This time just no summit. So again a very recommendable tour!
The many carved animals are part of the “Spürnasenpfad” puzzle trail for children. All animals had a little story and a letter for their solution.
In Todtmoos there has been a pilgrimage church for several centuries, which of course was / is visited by pilgrims. The Todtmooser sold them gingerbread as a nutritious, long-lasting and handy pilgrim bread. This became so well known in the area that the residents of Todtmoos were called "Lebküchler" (or still are?).18 ottobre 2021

A short morning tour through the astonishingly wild Hohwehraschlucht. I would rather call this type of landscape “Tobel”, but it was still worthwhile. A very nice path leads along the Wehra.

... and another round of superlatives in the Black Forest. It started when there was still fog here too. That made the already great, rocky path through the forest on the Holzmättle really mystical. At the Hohfelsen there was still nothing with a view, but the sun was low and soon I was at the fog line. I love to step out of the fog and into the sun! Afterwards we went on cool paths, often with great views, through the high valley with its pastures and moor areas. The Herzogenhorn has been luring for a long time, so I simply extended the tour by climbing it. Great thing, the view was sensational again. We went back through the forest, over pastures and on the Bernauer Panoramaweg, which offered wonderful views.

The waterfall was, so to speak, on the way from the Belchensteig back to the hotel in Todtmoos. So I allowed myself the detour. A multi-level waterfall with well-developed paths around it that is really well worth seeing. Very easy to reach by car and accordingly well populated.
