The hike around the Lechsee near Lechbruck, which is populated by many birds, is a varied walk and, due to the low incline and the route close to the water, also highly recommended for families with children. However, the mostly natural path on the south side of the water between Lechbruck and Urspring is not suitable for use with prams. The well-developed north side of the Lechsee is largely dominated by a campsite.

The condition of the path on the section between the Schleier Falls and the Soyermühle is severely impaired. A very good surefootedness is an essential prerequisite for mastering this section of the route, which is criss-crossed by steep inclines.
