At the moment the Brocken has a magical attraction for me. I love the view from above when you can look far over the Harz foreland
As ordered, the Brocken Railway also came to the photo shoot, two times in a row, great!

Today the tour first went to Torfhaus. The S0 trail on the Abbe-Graben was a bit blocked and rooted in places, but it worked.
From the Eckersprung on I was accompanied by various roaring deer on the way back. Sometimes it sounded so close, as if the deer was standing right next to me

With the nice weather this afternoon I had to go up to the Brocken to see the invasion weather from above. It looked peculiar: you could see a little over the plain, but behind it suddenly there was a gray wall as if drawn with a ruler.

It was actually supposed to be a longer tour. But I got into the middle of the loading of the felled tree trunks. On the one hand, it was exciting to see how skilfully and almost artfully the logs were threaded through the loading hatch into the closed truck.

Today's tour was very different from Monday, but also very nice. The weather was perfect.
The Langensteiner cave dwellings and also the sandstone caves near Blankenburg im Heers are very interesting. An absolute recommendation!
They were created and used in very different ways.

Today we cycled the tour planned by Gabriele to the sandstone caves near Langenstein.
But not at the specified speed 😨. When tailoring the tour, the kilometer information was taken over correctly, but Komoot has exaggerated slightly at the speed 😎
Otherwise, the tour led again through a varied landscape…
After a phone call, a small round of movement at the "blue hour" turned into a night hike. The sky was covered with a closed cloud cover and in places you couldn't see your hand in front of your eyes. Nice 🤩 .... and a little bit scary when the wind comes up
