A well signposted bike path leads around the lake. The tour is varied and the detour to Ossiach is worthwhile. There is a lot to see there and refreshment stops also beckon. On the way back on the hill there are the most beautiful views over the lake and specially created resting places to enjoy the idyll.

Always nice to cycle through the Illmitzer hell! Even if the "traffic" on the bike path to the Pentecost weekend was accordingly. Dark herds of cattle graze on the hut pastures on the lakeshore.
A stop at Tschisti's juice shop in the orchard and vineyard is always an experience.
