I really wanted to see the reconstruction of the Stiege stave church - even if it's not quite finished yet. Looks great!
WSK at the top of the castle and on to a legitimate ghost, because the Kreuzwegbaude is empty and destroyed. HWN 55 of course pressed into the booklet and on to Schwedenschanze, which not only has a Castles & Castles stamp, but was also a WSK. So you can stamp 2x digitally.
On the long way back, we passed the former church site and the ruins of the Albrechtsklinik. The highlight shortly before the end was the Selkebahn again, which I got on a photo with the hiking trail reference.
I've walked the entire Selkestieg twice - you can also find the routes here on Komoot. There is a film about it on youtube.

The Heimkehle has now become a beautifully developed facility - with a large parking lot. From there it goes to stamp 214 on almost always muddy paths, which now have well-developed steps. It used to be a mere slip-up. In addition to the stamp, this time the WSK 2011-01 Stein 100 is the actual goal. It goes there via the karst path and is an absolutely worthwhile round, so as not to use the stamp 214 as a short hiking destination.
Then suddenly the Grasburg in the app and on the map caught my eye and I had the vague hope that it would be easy to return to Heimkehle from there. It turned out differently :-)
The way to the Grasburg was adventurous over long-abandoned hiking trails and trees and stones - but very nice. The Grasburg itself is definitely worth a visit. It's great when the remains of a medieval castle and later chapel suddenly appear in the forest. The way back was then missing an alleged bridge and there was no way through the quarry - so 2 km over the road. In any case, two very worthwhile goals - with the stamp 214 :-)

      4. Emperor hike.
The time has come, the 222nd stamp is in the stamp book. 2 months ago it was clear that the Ebersburg should be the coronation site. A beautiful place at any time of the year, which impressed me very much on my first visit. The Hohnstein castle ruins (98) and the Neustadt dam (218) were the start of the long path to the Dreiherrenstein (94) - and then turned south and headed for the Ebersburg.
An uplifting feeling already at the entrance to the castle - the crowns on the turnstile and the barrier got a whole new meaning :-)
Incidentally, the Ebersburg was a wandering stamp box in 2010 - so I was allowed to digitally stamp twice.
At the very end, the way back took a little longer than planned over a paved route, as it had already gotten dark.

I was in the Harz Mountains for 99 days
      27 nights in hotel/ guesthouse
      12 nights in a tent
On this Kaiser tour, I concentrated on the long-distance and themed trails. The other Kaiser rounds in numbers:
      1st Kaiser: 1300 km, 7 years
      2nd Emperor: 850 km, 3 years
      3. Kaiser: 1069 km, 7 months (book project "Hiking in the Harz Mountains")
      4th Emperor: 1731 km, 16 months
Yes, there are endless ways to experience the Harz Mountains - thanks to the Harz Hiking Needle.
There is already a core topic for the 5th round :-)

Before today's lap, we quickly went up to 108 Sudmerbergswarte, then the parking lot at the Rammelsberg mine. The way up to the Ramseck is very steep, but beautiful. In addition, there was the snowfall of the last two days, which made the whole thing even more slippery. Adventure is a must :-)
You can also get the 111 Steinberg Tower at the Steinbergalm, but that's a bit of a cheat - so up to the tower. Then on to the Granetalsperre - a toboggan would have been great here for the descent. Nice view from the pavilion, the sun came out for a moment.
You are rarely alone on this round, especially when the first snow has fallen. The people are friendly and greetings, they just don't want to give up their children. Often heard today: "If you don't come with us now, we'll leave you here!" I offered myself every time, but then nobody made their announcement true ;-)
Up to the Steinbergalm and then through the beautiful city park back to the Rammelsberg. Very nice tour of Goslar.

Today made a nice tour at Wildemann and included 2 WSK = wandering stamp box.
Steep up to 105 is always nice. Then continue over the rich Julia spring to the former creativ-art path. The virtual stamp point is right at the entrance to the path. The path is barely recognizable, but I still found some former works of art. Like searching in the jungle ...
The following Einersberger pond is a real insider tip. You can even swim here. From Clausthal and Wildemann only accessible by hike, it will probably not be used heavily in summer. I'll be back for sure :-)
Then down to Wildemann and - after a piece of cake in between - up to the pavilion, where the active value chain is currently. Nice tour.

From the landscape park a bit cross-country (Komoot has given a path ...) towards Wiesenrode. Beautiful village with a half-timbered church that is well worth seeing.
Further to the bison and there a few meters to the WSK = Wandering stamp box and digitally stamped. The way to the Cluesberg is quite long, back to Degenershausen too :-) Well, but only 3 stamps are missing for the 4th Kaiser.

Leaving Ballenstedt right past the town hall and out into the countryside. First to the Bismarck tower (Komoot suppressed the pictures) and to the coal shaft, and then walk an arch south past Ballenstedt back to the castle. Here, of course, the Burgen & Schlösser stamp was set, before the forester Tannen again saw a full double page with stamps :-)
Then finally at the pea soup stand. Yummy. I happened to be there around noon ;-).
The way to the Sieberstein pond is a particularly beautiful section, I think. And in the valley to the small dam and up to the stamp 61 is the best solution for the Grauwacke stamp so far.
A visit to the Roseburg with a view of the fascinating garden (and castles and palaces stamps) should of course not be missed.
The highlight was the WSK = wandering stamp box on the counter stones. I was actually here for the first time! Very worthwhile, great section of the Teufelsmauer.

Arnstein Castle is definitely worth a visit. Not only because of the WSK = wandering stamp box, but because of the uniqueness of the system.
In addition to the impressive castle, you can visit the secret passage - it is easy to walk through - where else do you have something like that. Presumably the "secret passage" served to deliver beer (was it already the Altenauer Pils?).
The map for this visit is not usable, but the starting point is the parking lot, you can see the castle and where the photos are you can find the secret passage. Have fun.

Another WSK = wandering stamp box with which the tour began. Nice place and impressive oak.
The highlight today was of course the witch tree, one of the most beautiful places in the Harz Mountains because it is so unique and special. The calcium source was new to me. The water doesn't taste that bad. In Bad Suderode it is clearly "healthier" (means: more terrible in taste).
