Today we explored the beautiful Kempen on the "historical city tour". Some monuments are provided with information boards.

Today we were in Kleve. First it went a bit through the Reichswald 🌲🌳 (the largest contiguous forest area on the Lower Rhine). There you can admire the cairns.
Then we made our way to Schwanenburg 🏰.
The gardens ⛲️ 🌻 are also really beautiful.

Today's tour took us to the Schwalm-Nette nature park. It went along the Nette, around the De Wittsee (with its great bird life) and through the Krickenbeck lakes. Since the observation tower had finally reopened, we could also look at the beautiful landscape from above.

Since it wasn't so extremely hot today 🥵, we were able to run a nice lap in the shade of the trees 🌲 🌳. There are many remains of the bunkers of an air ammunition plant from the Second World War.
A lap around the Xanten South Sea is always nice. You get a little holiday feeling right away 🏝.
