Round through the Heinrichshofer forest in flat undulating ground moraine, which partly follows the Brandenburger Jakobsweg. A very nice hilly mixed forest with many old tall trees with a few open spots with meadow and dry grass. You can complete the round over the strip of grass at the edge of the forest…

Circular route from Hohenselchow over the Rosensteig to Heinrichshofer Wald, then behind Heinrichshof along over meadows and fields. Then a bit of cross-country because a part of the path is missing. Over the Herrendamm and a beautiful path along the meadows back to Hohenselchow.

In particular the areas with oak forest…

The hike follows the signposted Tauersche Eichen nature trail for almost 10 km. There are many display boards along the way with actually interesting information. The special feature here is the oak forest and, above all, some very old sessile oaks.
