I found the tour really awesome. There was something for everyone, asphalt, gravel, forest path, across meadows, steep ascent and steep descent. Actually we wanted to eat at Elke's Ice Age and ice cream, which is not available everywhere. Unfortunately there was too. The route was originally planned as a mountain bike tour, but it is more of a bike tour. Some passages are designed for mountain bikes, but most of them can be safely ridden on a normal bike.

It's actually a council tour, but you should either not ride a city bike or ride it carefully. There are two passages in it that should be driven with wider tires. Otherwise the route is fun.

The climb is pretty decent. Originally it should have been a normal bike tour (when planning), but I wouldn't ride the downhill section on a city bike. The downhill section is MEGA Gaudi. The view over Jena is just gigantic. You can drive / walk in many other directions there, which I wanted to do again at some point.
Somehow Komoot didn't record a small part of the route! Anyway, the track was brilliant, a couple of quiet passages and also a couple of the front ones. In some places the guide was not completely transparent, but I got through safely. The view of the dam is worth taking on some of the hardships. Despite…
