Rübeland in the Bodetal is known for the two stalactite caves. A visit was not due, however, as I had already seen it. Rather, the goal was the temporary hiking stamp on the Krockstein.

At the end of August 2019 I cycled through there on the way back from the Brocken (komoot.de/tour/90204749). And as I am now finding out, I should go there again. The photos are good. Due to the mostly leaf-free trees, late autumn offers a special view, albeit with fewer colors. Regards

Thank you Hugo, I agree with you, the "free" view opens up completely new motifs. However, with the damp paths and slippery leaves, increased attention is required, and sturdy shoes are also advisable.
