Great location and the old capital of the Anglo saxon kingdom of mercia!

The caves are called Anchor Church where legend has it that a deposed king of Northumbria,Eardwulf of Northumbria, who later became a Saint lived in the 7th century.

We recently stayed at the Boot Inn at Repton and would highly recommend it.
