After our return from vacation at the end of August, our weekends were occupied with other dates throughout September, we actually had no time to hike. This Sunday we were able to insert a shorter, medium-difficult lap. The tour was on easy-to-walk paths and paths. Only a crossing of the Eulenbach over…
Thanks for the detailed comment 😊👍Since I want to see the tower too, I saved the tour right away. Others have made similar statements about the price. Again very nice photos!
Thank you Maria for your nice comment. That was too expensive for us. We didn't go up. We were of the opinion that you get the expected view for free (e.g. on the Hohlohturm). When the flying fox is installed, we will probably use the offer.
Looks like a nice leisurely tour, Matthias.
Just for a view, I think the prices are quite steep, if I weren't high either 😊
paid 5 € for a visit to the cave while on vacation, it took about three minutes.
Nice hike, the price to climb the tower is beyond good and bad! I will NEVER pay such prices for an observation tower, except for the Rottweil elevator test tower or the Eiffel tower - which will certainly cost more. So I can only see the tower from below, there are other options.
Thanks for sharing the tour!
Well, at least there is an elevator here, if you don't want to walk 300 steps, and barrier-free access. Disabled parking spaces are approx. 200 m from the tower. For one or the other, this is definitely a highlight.
Ok - let's let it go 😊🙋🏼♀️
With these prices I prefer to go to the free Büchenbronn observation tower (25 m high, observation platform at 633 m) or the also free Hohe Warte (40 m high, observation platform at 577 m) between Hohenwart and Schellbronn. Okay, Himmelsglück is higher (55 m), but that wouldn't be worth 7.50 euros to me.
Nice that you could hike again ;-) Also lucky with the jay. Fortunately, I prefer viewing platforms and not towers ;-) Have a nice week ... Greetings Patrick
Nice lap and after such a break you notice how much you missed it. As for tower prices, I join the crowd here. Really incomprehensible - when you consider how many fantastic observation towers there are to climb in the area that only cost you the breath to climb :-)
Because of the pricing, I have to add one more. A family card costs € 22.00. However, this only applies to 2 adults and 2 children. What if you have three children or more? When our children were small (we have three), I was often annoyed about such pricing.
Okay, with an elevator so handicapped accessible, things will certainly look different. Still, the price isn't right. For this price you can go on by train, sometimes even with the elevator to the platform (not everywhere, but things are progressing).
