Hohwachter Bay:

The plan was to circumnavigate the small lake. However, it failed because of blocked paths, which are only accessible to NABU. The beach 🏖 can be conquered everywhere with dogs (on a leash) ... I was thrilled, because that is rare and Gladis was able to play submarine extensively.

Yes, sometimes cormorants turn the big wheel too. What might the result? Very great (photo) route once again. And if I'm not mistaken, you've caught plover and dunlin. Class! Missing from my "collection" ... 📷🔝📷🔝👏👏🤩

@Burkhard, I saw a few other species of birds, unfortunately they were put to flight by happily cackling cyclists or I was too slow again 😢.

@Dolle, actually I think cormorants are funny. Was able to watch someone nap on a bollard who almost fell into the water ... wonderful 🤣. Unfortunately, their invasive emergence destroys entire areas 😢.

Willi, if I had familiarized myself with the tour in advance, I would have noticed that one would have had to go from the northern point of my route into the interior of the country and then to the lake. There is also a lookout point and an eagle's nest somewhere. After that, however, it's a bit along the road 🤗.

@Karin, then the insurmountable high gate was certainly open. Unfortunately not for me. Would have loved to have found out what was happily chattering and fluttering there. I could hear her 🙃.
