After many years I wanted to go back to the place where my father comes from. Unfortunately, there is not much left to see of the house, everything is abandoned and dilapidated.



Otherwise there is not much to see in this area, beyond the border, except poverty and dogs running freely.

Thanks Mirko. In this part of Poland there are hardly any bike paths as we know them. This tour led on country roads with little traffic. In the small towns you usually have to bump over cobblestones. It was a bit like traveling back in time 😉

There are also places that look forward to cobblestones. 🤔

Yes @Frank, the Poles are not ready in many things. I can really empathize with you what it is like to juggle around on old streets and paths, some of which are still completely ailing. The route itself is still very beautiful, apart from the cobblestones. 😎👍

I often drive in the border area in Poland and even if the roads are not that good it is always interesting. I already have the corner of Bad Muskau in my sights. It's just a matter of fitness for me 🤷‍♂️
