At the end of the week and the day in the home office, I did an evening tour along the Spree from Elsen to Oberbaumbrücke and back. The way there and back ran along the Rummelsburger See. Today, unlike the days before, the police stood with a megaphone on Paul-und-Paula-Ufer to get the people off the ice.

@manulie: You can sometimes (rarely) see ice anglers on the Rummelsburger See when it is frozen over. But I don't like to look either when the ice isn't thick enough. It should be at least 15cm thick. At the moment it's about 8-10cm.
