During my break from home office, I took a tour of the Frankfurter Allee Süd neighborhood, the Samariterkiez, Friedrichshain and the Victoriastadt (Kaskelkiez).

I like the corner of the house at Frankfurter Tor. Very creative, like some things in our city.

We could have met there in Kaskelstrasse. ;-)

@ Gabriela: I thought so too. I've walked past this corner a thousand times, but I only discovered it today.

@ Lutz: Maybe we actually met and just didn't notice. That would be a shame, but then it will definitely work next time.

That sounds very familiar to me. Sometimes the view is sharper than on other days or the direction is different.

When that was Stalin Allee, wasn't there the children's department store in the building on the left?

@Gabriele: The former children's department store was on what was then Stalinallee but on Strausberger Platz: friedrichshain-kreuzberg-online.de/index.php/das-ehemalige-kinderkaufhaus-am-strausberger-platz

Also the milk bar in the Stalin

I liked allee very much. It's a shame that there is no longer anything like it.
