Actually, we just wanted to go for a short hike and just chose the Kybfelsen for that. We hadn't even considered that it was facing west and this really spectacular sunset, which we had absolutely not expected, was all the more amazing!

Yes, yesterday we couldn't believe how great it is in Freiburg. I only cycled 10 minutes from home to the starting point of the hike and as soon as you go into the forest, you are out of the city and in the middle of beautiful nature. the paths often seem to have been trodden, since it seems that you walked effortlessly without snowshoes.

yes, the paths were already well trodden (at least in the upper part, where there are no longer so many different paths).
