Tour 5 from the book "Ways around Weimar - Part One"

When I looked out the window early on, it was clear that I didn't have to go far for a winter hike.

The paths that are to be taken here are partly completely overgrown. Certainly a little challenge even without snow.

Buchenwald makes you think. What people are so capable of.

And then you were also in a time lane. Have you ever been to the 18th century for a moment? How did that feel 😉

These are again beautiful snow pictures from a great tour!

Somehow it also fits, beech forest in gloomy foggy images and then the clearer sky on the toboggan slope.

Every time, and for years now, when I see the bell tower on the Ettersberg from the A4, I think I have to go to Weimar again. Your hikes from yesterday and today reinforce the desire to put that project into practice. But only when all museums and exhibitions are open again. Thanks for the suggestions.

A very memorable tour with a very special snow atmosphere. Yes, the exhibitions in Buchenwald are definitely worth it.
