You should know that any compression causes loss of image. Since you go down to HD resolution, you lose some image information in terms of image quality. The rest of the Komoot compression also increases your image loss.
For this reason I don't even bother and let Komoot do the compression…
Just for fun I downloaded two pictures from different tours. Your pictures were stored with 46KB and 412KB. Mine were more than 517KB.
First you can see how Komoot compresses 16GB images to 46KB. No wonder then that we are depressed because of the poor image quality.
