The grounds of the Psychiatric Clinic Lüneburg (PKL) with its parks and the clinics in the pavilion system from the Wilhelminian period are worth seeing. Also a place to relax. The facility is open, an exception is "forensics", where you should not take pictures.
The goal was the "Euthanasia" memorial…
One of the 31 children's departments that existed in Germany was founded in Lüneburg. About 5000 children were killed in these departments. I go for a walk there very often ... a gem in the city ... fantastic trees ... rest ... to refuel 🌳
Siegfried, nice to see you again!
Thank you very much Katinka and Agavia!
The facility is really special, for relaxing and walking.
Horror that stunned you! This cruel and unbearable part of our past fills me with deep shame and sadness.
I miss your tours and posts. Kind regards 👋🏼
