The tour is suitable for beginners. On the coast it is partly steep, but the way is quite well developed. You should take the path around the volcano a little further and then only towards the coast.
Sturdy shoes / hiking boots and headgear recommended
Accessible by bus: stops Olof Palme or Puertito de Güimar. And then just towards the beach and from there to the north. The beginning of the path can not be missed.
Plenty of restaurants in town.
