Very interesting and slightly hilly 50 km route starting and ending at a Gasometer U3 Station.



Starts with an uphills segment from Gasometer to Roundabout Favoriten (U1 station), so skip this part if you want to make it a bit easier.

Way back:



From Laxemburg until Himberg, I took a local road. It was OK (few cars), but there are probably cozier bicycle-only routes for this segment.



From Himberg until Schwechat, I followed a very pleasant bicycle only route. Had to make a little detour in Zwölfaxing, but nothing to complain about… leggi altro

Alternatively, you can continue straight through Schwechat (stay on a stream) and then turn left towards Hafen Albern. Friedhof der Namenlosen is worth a little detour there.
