The whole hike leads again and again along interesting rock formations on beautiful, well-maintained small forest paths. The most beautiful route is along the stream to the starting point (parking lot).
It would have been better to go the way clockwise, because that's how it is signposted - we got lost…
True, there is seldom such a picturesque stream! And I can really recommend the whole area - not overcrowded, great hiking trails - also bike tours - and a bit of culture, beautiful corners in Echternach and in Luxembourg a little "foreign feeling".

The absolute highlight is of course the picturesque Beaufort fairy tale ruin. There is also a nice coffee break here. A visit is also worthwhile.
