On the five hikes in this Collection, you will constantly reach for your camera as you visit the most breathtaking places in the Kitzbuhel Alps in Austria. You will hike to magical places and vantage points where it is impossible not to take a photo. Years later, your snapshots will bring these wonderful moments back to life.

In this Collection, five day routes of varying degrees of difficulty around the Pillersee Valley and the Kitzbuhel Alps await. Some of the hikes can be extended into a two-day adventure by spending the night in a mountain hut. For example, the route to Wildseeloder Lake offers you countless photo opportunities as you hike from Fieberbrunn to the Wildseeloder Hut. You trace the edge of the magnificent lake before summiting Wildseeloder and marveling at the view from the top. The second route also explores the area around the Wildseeloder Lake as you climb the Marokka summit (using fixed ropes) once again enjoying panoramic views. The third route, an easy ascent to Jacob’s Cross on the Buchensteinwand, is suitable for the whole family. If high mountains are your thing, then the fourth hike is for you. From the Spielberghorn summit at 6,700 feet (2,044), you will be surrounded by the Loferer and Leoganger Steinberg, the Wilder Kaiser and the Berchtesgadener Alps. The fifth hike takes you to the Steinplatten summit and unique viewing platforms.

There is something for every kind of hiker and budding photographer in this Collection. We recommend wearing suitable footwear for all hikes. In addition, you need a helmet and harness for the fixed ropes on Tour two. You can find more information on how to reach the hikes with public transport in the stage descriptions.
