The must for every mountain lover / hiker: climbing the Kanisfluh, more precisely the Holenke at 2044 m.

We too did this with many others in bright sunshine. As the saying goes: "You are never alone on the Kanisfluh!"

A crisp ascent, but at the summit cross you will be rewarded with a spectacular view!

The Schönenbach Vorsäß settlement is part of the intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO - and rightly so!

Indeed, a wonderful piece of earth or lake! In cool and initially rainy weather, we had the lake and the entire way almost to ourselves.

The lift took us up to the mountain station and down we took the lift from the middle station. At the top of the summit we had a great view for a short time, but within a few minutes fog came in from the direction of Kleinwalsertal, which hardly resolved until the late afternoon.
