The Huguenot and Waldensian Trail is an initiative of the Council of Europe and is one of the European cultural routes. Participating countries are Germany, France and Italy as well as associated Switzerland. The main German route is around 1,000 kilometers and runs in five sections from Bad Karlshafen…

So today we took our 2nd stage of the 3rd section of the Huguenot and Waldensian Trail under the feet, which led us from the Frankfurter Berg district to the local train station and crossed nooks and crannies of the city that you - unless you live or work there - rather does not know.
We have again organized…

Our 3rd stage on the Rhein-Main-Neckar section of the German route of the Huguenot and Waldensian path brought us from FFM-Sachsenhausen to Neu-Isenburg. From the local train station, we went past the Willemer house, first up to the new Goethe tower. The path leads along allotment gardens to the Scheer…

Our 4th stage on the Rhein-Main-Neckar section of the Huguenot and Waldensian path in Germany led from Neu-Isenburg to Walldorf. As with the previous stage, the path mostly followed wide, dead-straight forest roads, but again the stage was unexpectedly entertaining, even if we had to stop significantly…
