Tuscany Trail 2023

The 2023 Tuscany Trail. An epic adventure of riding the Tuscan hills. Filled with gravel, single and mud tracks it was an awesome ride however the event wasn’t so well organised with a lot of small villages, restaurants and bars not even alerted to the fact they were going to be inundated with over 5,000 riders. This made for some confusing stops and a lot of hard work for the locals whom had no idea what was coming. All in all though it worked out well and the ride was something we won’t forget and highly recommend doing however next time we’ll do it on our own when the weather is more favourable and there are less riders filling the hotels and restaurants. It’s a shame it wasn’t better organised as a lot of riders were disappointed and had travelled from far and wide such as ourselves from Australia.
Hopefully next time they’ll make designated stops for participants where they can camp and socialise and get to know each other as this was missed by all riders.
