Wanderurlaub Südtirol 🌞🏔 September 2021

An easy hike with our hotel manager from Verano to the Knottnkino and to Avelengo.

On the way there was a hearty bacon vesper and interesting information about the area around Avelengo and family history.

Hike in South Tyrol, start at the Hotel Falzeben in the Merano 2000 area to the Missensteiner Joch through a beautiful larch forest to the Moschwald Alm and back.

Hike from Avelengo to Wurzeralm when the sky is initially overcast.

Soon it was still raining lightly. Nevertheless it was nice to see the fog and clouds.

When the view is clear, we start our hike near Meran 2000 / Piffing. First to the Missensteiner Joch 2128 m, over the Kesselberg / hut 2300 m to the large Mittager 2422 m and stop at the hut. Continue via Öttenbacher Alm to the Meraner Hütte and back to Piffing.

From Falzeben we start early in the morning, still wafts of fog ahead of us, to the Moschwaldalm, past the Maiseralm to Kreuzjöchl. From here we have a great view of Ifinger and Plattenspitze👍.

Continue to Kreuzjoch on the E 5 long-distance hiking trail over a plateau overgrown with juniper trees. The… leggi altro

One last pleasure hike in South Tyrol, with Monika, our hotel manager, took us to the hiking area around Jenesien.

We hiked through light larch forests with a view of the Dolomites and past the earth pyramids over the Salten.
