So today the crossing of the Swabian Jura. Fortunately, the first climb from Blaubeuren to Laichingen was relatively leisurely through an elongated valley. So, tour ended. Family reunification in Aschaffenburg and journey home by car to NRW are now pending. No photos from the last section of the route, because I've cycled the Main Cycle Path several times, and this section is not one of the highlights for my taste. The route followed the 'German Limes Cycle Path' today. It goes up and down in small parts (watchtowers were probably built on ridges). Also quite a lot of unpaved track. The Federsee nature reserve near Bad Buchau is not only interesting because of the moor: there is also an archaeological museum (true to style in pile construction) with an outdoor area ('museum village'). Well-made representation… leggi altro
