Wiedradweg

By train to Au / Sieg. Up and down to Nistertal. It's not far to the Wiedquelle

Nice bike path. With many beautiful forest passages. I could have saved myself the Wiedquelle, since no water has been bubbling there for a long time. The Wied accompanied me from Dreifelder Weiher. 2.5 km before Neustadt / Wied you have to drive on the country road as there is no cycle path. Just 7 km before the stage finish.

My accommodation, the Strand Cafe, is located directly on the Wiedradweg and is a great place to stay. Delicious food and a great breakfast buffet. It was approx. 30 km from there to the Wied estuary. In Neuwied I lost the Wied briefly but found it again before the estuary.
