🇮🇹 Dolomiten - Fanes-Sennes-Prags

First day in the Dolomites. Great accommodation in the Toblach guesthouse in the former Grand Hotel. From there by bus to Lake Braies - a magically beautiful mountain lake with too many tourists.

Second day in the Dolomites. This time from St. Vigil first with the cable car to the first height, but then a very steep and exhausting path to the Oiz de Corn. From there then to the western flank of the Fanes massif with the Heiligkreuzkofel above the Heiligkreuzhospiz. From there then take the cable… leggi altro

On the third day in the Dolmiten, first a detour to the wall under the Heiligkreuzkofel. In the absence of any experience with via ferratas, I didn't dare continue climbing the wall and decided to take the easy tour to St. Kassian. Still got nice impressions of the rocks of the Fanes massif up close.

Despite the bad weather and the strenuous ascent, this was the most beautiful day of my Dolomites tour. Every five minutes the views of the incredible rock formations have changed. The rising clouds then contributed the rest to the mystical and whimsical atmosphere. An unforgettable hike.

Nice and not very difficult end of the Dolomites tour with a hike around the Tofana massif to the impressive gorge of the Fanesbach (Rio di Fanes).
